Jennifer Hollie Bowles writes to prolong breathing. She is the editor of The Medulla Review (www.themedullareview.com), a venue that caters to edgy, surreal, slip-stream writing. As of April, 2010, her poetry and prose has been accepted for publication in twenty-eight literary journals, including Thieves Jargon, blossombones, Counterexample Poetics, Word Riot, and The Ampersand Review. Her work is forthcoming in The New York Quarterly, Echo Ink Review, Caper Literary Journal, DecomP, and Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, among others. She is also seeking a home for her first novel, Surreal Self. Jennifer’s spirit screams in minor keys louder than train whistles.
